I’ve been planning this one for a while, and I’m so excited to tell you about it! I’ve partnered up with Ashlee Ann On Location to bring you Boudoir Girls’ Night Out!
Head off to a bachelorette party with your hair and makeup looking great (and pictures with your friends BEFORE you hit the bar!), or just have a great girls’ night in for no particular reason at all besides looking gorgeous and having fun. For $90 a person – just the cost of professional hair and makeup – you get a beauty day tailored to you and individual and group portraits taken of you and your friends. A week or two later we’ll get together to order your favorites. So bring some wine, spend some time with your girlfriends, and get glamorous portraits that you’ll be happy to hang on the wall. What a great way to celebrate the bond that women have with each other.
Call me to get more details or to book your date!
Recently I had the joy of working with two really great friends. We met at one of the girl’s apartment and played, posed, and had a lot of fun. Here I’m showing you some of their tamest images, but one of my favorite moments (which I can’t post), was when they had a pillow fight in matching lingerie! I really love shooting beauty and boudoir. I’m thinking about putting together a package for bachelorette parties. Hair, makeup, and photos with the bride and some of her best friends, individually and together. I think it would be a great way to get ready for a night out! Everyone would leave feeling and looking fabulous, and have pictures with their best friends. What do you think?
Personally, I’m a bit jealous now that I don’t have a great picture of me with my own best friends to hang on my wall, like this one (although for my own wall, I’d probably do it with a shirt on, but I LOVE the confidence these ladies have!):
Here are some of my favorite images of each girl from our session.

Mother’s Day is only about a month away. Are you wondering what would be a perfect gift for your mom (or wife)? My mom has always been so hard to get gifts for. She buys what she wants, and she isn’t very vocal about what she’d like. So I thought about what moms who are hard to shop for would like. What can’t you buy in a store? Pictures. Not just any pictures, but the kinds of images that make you see yourself as the beautiful, loving, amazing person that you are. Images that capture the bond between family and friends.
In celebration of Mother’s Day, I’m offering 5 very special sessions. Each will be a double session – mother/daughter, sisters, friends – with gorgeous hair and makeup and a $50 print credit for each person. The total value of this package is $450. I’m offering it to the first 5 people who reserve their dual session for $150. After the first 5, it will be available until Mother’s Day for only $200. There will be images of each person separately and some together. You can either book the appointment for this month as an early gift (so that the images are in your hands by Mother’s Day) or surprise her with it on Mother’s Day and book it for afterwards. Just let me know which way you’d prefer.
Some ideas I had were for a daughter to give it to her mother and do the shoot together, or for a husband to give to his wife to celebrate with her mother, her daughter, her sister or her best friend. It would even be a great way for sisters or friends to just treat themselves!
After your session you will both look and feel gorgeous, so plan a night out!

Most of the images on this site are photographs of children. I am often asked, “Do you only photograph children?” The answer is “absolutely not!” What you may not know is that a good portion of my business is boudoir work. I love taking boudoir portraits and helping women feel amazing about themselves, whatever shape they’re in. Many times, the images are just of a more sensitive nature, so I hesitate to put them out on the internet. If you’d ever like to see a sample of my boudoir work, just let me know. I also do contemporary adult portraits that are not overtly sexy in nature. Here are some pictures from a boudoir session taken at a client’s home in Novi. This shoot was my first time working with a hair and makeup artist. If you are thinking about booking a session with me, I highly recommend including hair and makeup. Lori looked and felt amazing.
Lori also sent me a picture of some word art that she made to accompany one of her photographs above her bed. I love it! It’s so amazing to see my own art up on the walls of my friends, family, and clients.
